I located Green Star Windows on Angie's list and was impressed with the consistently high grades and positive remarks posted by his customers. I also researched Green Star Windows on the Better Business Bureau site and found the same high rating.
Working with Eric was a pleasure- He is definitely customer focused. The entire process was a positive experience, from beginning to completion. He was very upfront with the attributes of the different window models, the prices and the options that are available. He seemed to have a good understanding of what we were looking for and made a practical recommendation that fit our requirements. At no time did he try to up sell us to a more expensive model.
At our request he replaced all 18 windows in our home in three phases, starting in the Fall of 2013and the last phase completed in June of 2014. Each time he showed up he was on time, as promised, with the correct windows and everything he needed to complete the job. Eric was on site with his crew for the entire job.
Everyone in his crew was very pleasant: they covered all the window  openings before starting work to keep the outside environment outside. They were careful not to track in dirt or other debris in the house and cleaned up the area before they left.
Prior to starting the job I communicated to Eric that one main requirement was to completely seal around all the new window openings so that there was no entry point for water air, etc. During the installation process Eric took the initiative to show me exactly how he was sealing around each window. I was very pleased with method and detail he went to.
We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the installation.

We highly recommend Green Star for window and siding, especially if you have a need beyond a straight window replacement project. Eric and his crew are excellent carpenters and can probably customize any opening to give a house a new, distinctive and artistic look.

Replaced 31 original windows with Simonton 5500 energy efficient ones.
Eric was extremely professional from start to finish. He was very detail oriented and was very easy to contact. His punctuality was a big plus. He spent over three hours on the first visit giving us a detailed estimate for the windows. His product seemed solid and I particularly like the fact that he would be doing the work personally.  When he installed the windows, it took approximately three days. His crew came early, worked hard and cleaned up before they left. One of the windows had the wrong pattern of grid. When we showed him, he immediately ordered the correct grid pattern window and came back to replace it himself at no additional cost. Overall he worked very hard to provide excellent sevice.

He was careful in measuring-watched him recheck when he felt there was something out of the ordinary. No pressure- just straight forward working man's approach. The provider replaced all the siding on my home. they did a marvelous job! I am very, very pleased. I get many complements on the work from the neighbors. He and his men came at the scheduled time. When they came to work on my home they were very professional. They cleaned up each day as they completed the work. They were not only tidy, they were courteous as well.The project was completed in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the work and would use them again. They replaced a window that had failed( installed by another company) and replaced an original window. They were on time and professional. They did not leave until I was satisfied. They were actually the highest bid I received but decided to go with them because I felt like Eric knew what was important to me in the process  and was willing to find the window that I wanted. He was easy to work with and did an excellent job. He was the only company that would use mortar to fill in instead of a lot of caulking around the gaps.This alone made a big difference in how the installation looks from the outside. I am very pleased.

Took advantage of the Big Deal offered since it was part of my remodel project planned. The special allowed me to save over$350.00. Eric came over, took the measurements and showed me several options available. Once everything was decided we set the installation date. He arrived on time and went right to work. they were very careful to cover everything to keep everything clean. They worked quickly and it only took a few hours. When they finished they made sure all debris was cleared away. Eric took the time to make sure that the alarm sensors were installed and working properly before he left. I was very happy with how the work was done and feel that this was a very good deal. I would use Green Star Windows again.

A few years ago, Eric installed new windows for our entire house. He was so easy to work with and so responsive. Our new windows are wonderful. Unfortunately, our puppy ripped and bent a few of our new screens, so I called Eric to fix them.He worked in our small job in between his larger jobs and it took him less than 20 minutes.

Eric came out to do the measurements and to inform us what to expect, i.e type of windows, time the two man crew would show up, etc....The two guys showed up at the agreed time and got to work and had the first two windows up in an hour or so. The guys did an outstanding job and did a good job of cleaning everything up after the project was done. Will certainly recommend.

Eric and his crew were very courteous and professional. They removed the old vinyl siding and gutters and found additional problems. They had to replace numerous 2 x 6 bands behind the facia that had rotted because the roof had not been installed properly, which allowed water to pool up on the edge of the roof and leak behind the band. Also put up drip edge all around the house. They cleaned up everyday and kept me informed on all problems that came up and lucky for me, they were able to fix all the problems! They caulked all the siding before they painted and it looks great. Eric is an honest person and does not take advantage of a single woman like most contractors would. I was able to change my mind about the color several times before it was painted. It looks like a new home! I am very grateful and will use him again if I decide to replace windows and put up gutters again.

When Eric gave the estimate for the job, we were impressed with his knowledge regarding his product. He was able to answer all our questions. We did not have to wait an extended period of time for the work to begin. Eric and Shane were here on time everyday. they worked quickly and professionally.  Clean up was excellent. Green Star is a great company to do business with. This is the second time they have been to our house. The first time was excellent and so we finally decided to replace the rest of our windows. Scheduling, working and clean up is a breeze with this company.I would recommend to anyone who needs windows or window remodeling to think about using them. I bought Green Star's amazing deal, 1,499.00 for four windows, and now that they've been installed, i cant believe what a great deal this truly is! From the appointment to measure my existing windows until having the new windows installed today was only a couple of weeks. Each of the gentlemen I dealt with were prompt, highly professional and cleaned up after themselves very well. They went the" extra mile"! I give Green Star Windows all A's because they certainly deserve it. The quality of the Simonton windows is incredible. They were prompt, fast and did quality work. I'd recommend them in a heart beat!
